Push boxes onto targets. That's the whole game.
Monoban is a clean Sokoban with 4-bit grayscale graphics — chiseled stone walls, wooden crates, and a warehouse keeper in a flat cap. 90 hand-curated stages across three difficulties, plus a bonus EXTREME pool of 488 puzzles that unlocks once the rest are cleared.
When you're not playing, WATCH mode turns the screen into a desk clock: an AI works through a shuffled 60-stage cycle while a full date+time LCD ticks at the bottom. The AI's footstep lands on the same beat as the colon blinks — boxes slide on the second.
Features:
- 90 hand-curated stages: EASY (20) / NORMAL (30) / HARD (40)
- 488 EXTREME stages unlock after the 90
- Unlimited UNDO, RESTART confirm prompt
- A-button SCOUT mode: free-camera scrolling for boards that exceed the screen
- Per-stage best-moves tracking
- WATCH mode — AI plays a shuffled 60 in lockstep with the wall clock
- Full date / day-of-week / time LCD display under WATCH mode
- 4-bit grayscale graphics — no color, no chrome, just the shapes
Controls:
- D-pad: move
- A: scout (camera scroll for big boards)
- B: undo
