About this app

Give each sentence time. With Offline Dictation, you can practice Spanish listening comprehension and spelling with a clear routine: choose a dictation, listen, write what you hear, and compare your answer to the original text.

LISTEN AT YOUR OWN PACE
Repeat a sentence as many times as you need and adjust the audio speed. The playback controls and writing area are together. Skip ahead when you're ready or turn on autoplay to continue practicing.

CHECK FOR MISSED WORDS
When you finish, check the accuracy of your attempt and compare it word by word. Identify omitted words, extra words, and spelling differences. Open a saved result or repeat the dictation to practice difficult sentences again.

FIND YOUR NEXT DICTATION
Explore a library of 499 included dictations, with 11 topics and Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. Search by title or topic, filter the options, and add the dictations you want to practice to your collection.

CONTINUE WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
Your pending answers and current sentence are saved on your device. Return from the Home screen to resume the lesson. If you don't have any pending practice, the Home screen may suggest a dictation where your last attempt still has words to review.

SAVE YOUR PROGRESS
View your attempt history, review what you wrote, and track your practiced words, accuracy, and study time. A daily goal helps you make time for a short practice session.

PRACTICE OFFLINE
Dictations and their audio are included in the app. Your answers and history are saved on your device. You can use the phone or tablet layout and adjust the appearance and playback.

ACCESS
Start with the daily practice allowance shown in the app. Lifetime Premium is optional and removes this limit with a single payment. Purchase and restoration require an internet connection.
