About this app

Make room for a few words. Lexicon: Language Learning is a word dictation and spelling practice app: listen to a word, type what you hear and check its spelling before moving on.

HEAR IT. SPELL IT. CHECK IT.
Replay the spoken word when you need another listen. Validate your answer to see whether it matches. If it needs work, inspect the correct word and the letter comparison, then continue with the next one.

SIX SEPARATE PRACTICE SPACES
Choose English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese or Japanese. Each language keeps its own progress, history, badges and words to revisit, so changing languages keeps your practice organized. Built-in word sets are grouped into Easy, Medium and Hard.

CHOOSE A MANAGEABLE SESSION
Pick a difficulty and a session size from the available options. Normal practice draws from the selected word set. Review focuses on words that need another attempt; Reinforce returns to words you have already answered correctly. Available words determine what each mode can offer.

CONTINUE LATER
Lexicon saves unfinished practice on your device, including your current word and answers. Return to it from Home. Before replacing or discarding an unfinished session, the app asks you to confirm.

SEE YOUR SAVED PRACTICE
Review a completed session, open your history and follow accuracy, words tested, streaks and progress by difficulty. A daily goal and badges give your practice a little structure.

SET UP YOUR SOUND AND SPACE
Word sets are included in the app. Spoken playback depends on the matching voice installed on your device; you may need to download it in Android's speech settings. Choose light, dark or system appearance for a comfortable practice space.

ACCESS
Start with the daily session allowance shown in the app. Optional lifetime access removes that limit with a one-time purchase. Purchase and restore features require an internet connection.
