Learn environmental science in the order the systems connect.

Biome is a four-year environmental science curriculum: 100 lessons from Earth systems and ecology to climate, policy and the arguments over net zero. Its 20 numbered courses move from physical systems through water, air, pollution, energy, population and health.

The first 10 lessons are free. One optional one-time purchase unlocks the remaining 90 lessons. There is no subscription.

The first 10 lessons are free: all of Earth Systems and all of Ecology Fundamentals. Scientist profiles, the glossary, all quizzes, landmark cases, spaced review, search, bookmarks, notes and widgets are also available without a purchase.

One optional one-time purchase unlocks the remaining 90 lessons. It restores on devices using the same Google account. There are no ads, subscriptions, or additional purchases.

OFFLINE AND PRIVATE BY DESIGN

The curriculum and reference library are installed with the app, so lessons, quizzes, profiles, glossary entries, cases and review work offline. Biome requires no account and the app itself requests no internet permission. Google Play handles purchase and restore. Support, privacy and source links open in your browser.

Progress, quiz attempts, bookmarks, notes and review state are stored locally. Android backup and device transfer may carry selected study data according to your device settings. Biome has no developer server, analytics or advertising SDK, and does not send your study data to us.
