About this app

StandBased Till is the point-of-sale app for football clubs running the
StandBased platform. It powers the bar and the club shop on matchday — and it
is built for the one thing every other till gets wrong.

It keeps working when the network doesn't.


BUILT FOR MATCHDAY, NOT FOR A DEMO

The hardest moment for a stadium till is not a power cut. It is three thousand
people arriving at once, all on the same wifi, at exactly the moment the queue
is longest. Most tills freeze, time out, or lose the sale.

StandBased Till doesn't wait for the network at any point in a sale. Products,
prices and modifiers live on the device. Every sale is written locally first,
then synced in the background. If the connection is gone, the till doesn't
notice — the queue of unsent sales just gets longer, and empties itself when
signal returns.

Nothing is lost. Nothing is queued twice. Every sale carries the time it was
actually taken, so your takings land in the right half of the match rather than
bunching at the moment the wifi came back.


WHAT IT DOES

• Sell fast — browse by category, one tap for a simple product, sizes and
add-ons in a single sheet for anything that needs a choice
• Cash and card — take card on your existing standalone machine and the sale is
still recorded, priced and reconciled here
• Works offline — the complete catalogue is held on the device
• Automatic sync — with manual "send sales" and "get prices" controls when you
want to see it happen
• Staff PIN sign-in — a name and a PIN, no passwords, no email addresses
• Loyalty scanning — scan a member's QR by camera or USB scanner and points are
credited to the sale
• Cash up on the till — count the drawer, get the variance, close the session
• Pause online table orders — stop the kitchen when the bar is slammed


PIN SIGN-IN THAT SUITS A MATCHDAY TEAM

Bar staff are often volunteers, often different every week. StandBased Till uses
POS Users: a name and a PIN, set up by a manager in the StandBased dashboard.
No email address, no password to reset, and — importantly — no access to
anything beyond the till itself.

Adding someone to Saturday's rota takes about ten seconds.


DESIGNED TO BE TRUSTED WITH MONEY

• A till cannot be cashed up while sales are still waiting to send — a float
reconciliation missing forty sales is worse than no reconciliation at all
• A connection indicator is always on screen, so staff know before a manager
does
• Sales that need a manager are shown plainly, never silently dropped
• Receipts printed offline carry a till reference, never an invented order
number


SET UP ONCE

Enter your club's enable string, choose which till this device is, and that's
it. Every launch after that opens straight on the staff list.


REQUIREMENTS

StandBased Till requires an active StandBased club account with the Food &
Beverage or Club Shop module enabled. It is not a standalone product and cannot
be used without one. Speak to your club administrator, or get in touch with us
