About this app

Every day 40 people in the Netherlands go into cardiac arrest outside the hospital. The chance of survival is greatest if someone resuscitates within 6 minutes and connects an AED. When every minute counts, quick help is vital. You too can help!

HartslagNu is the CPR call system in the Netherlands. With this app you will receive an alarm call if someone near you goes into cardiac arrest.

How does the My Heart RateNow app work?
We alert you based on your home and work address or based on your GPS position if you give specific permission for this. The nearest 100 civilian first responders within a radius of 2 km will receive a call. AEDs are also alerted, so you can be given the task of going directly to the victim or getting an AED first. If there are enough registrations, the rest will receive a cancellation so as not to have too many volunteers on site.

Features of the app
• Receive emergency calls based on your home and work address
• Turn on GPS alerts via Track my location
• View your latest emergency calls and questionnaires
• View nearby AEDs
• HSN passport (identification on location)
