About this app

StarBrief AI turns a meeting recording or a document into a brief you can act on.

Record the meeting, or upload a file you already have. A few moments later you get a
clean summary, the decisions that were actually made, and the action items with the
person and the deadline attached — instead of a wall of raw transcript.

WHAT IT DOES

• Meeting briefs — record in the app or upload audio. You get an executive summary,
the key points, the decisions and the follow-ups.
• Full transcript — kept alongside the brief, so you can always check the exact words.
• Documents — PDF, Word, plain text or a photo of a printed page. You get the gist,
the numbers that matter and the points worth worrying about.
• Ask AI — ask a question about that meeting or that document. The answer is drawn
from your own content, not from the open internet.
• Tasks — every action item becomes a task with a due date you can tick off, and the
app can draft a plan for a task you are stuck on.
• Plain-language mode — ask for the brief again without the jargon.
• 49 languages — the interface and the brief can each be in the language you prefer,
so you can record in one language and read the result in another.
• Share and export — send a brief as text or save it as a PDF.
• Works signed in or signed out — sign in to keep your briefs synced across your
phone and the web app at starbrief.org.

HOW IT WORKS

Recording and files are processed in the cloud by the StarCore engine, which is what
produces the transcript and the brief. Your briefs are stored on your device, and also
in your account if you are signed in, so you can pick them up on another device.

PRIVACY

You can delete any brief at any time, and you can delete your whole account and its
data from inside the app (Me → Account). The privacy policy is at

You can try the AI features a few times without an account, and a free account gets ten
AI runs a month. StarBrief Pro removes the limit: US$6.99 per month or US$59 per year,
billed through Google Play. Cancel any time from your Google Play subscriptions.
