I've been on Starlink for over a year now. I live in a city with multiple Internet access options but none of them are terribly stable. I work from home in IT so frequent drops and outages aren't acceptable. Starlink has been far more stable than anything else here. It's had its issues from time to time but nothing noteworthy. My grandma has really bad Internet out in the country side until she got Starlink and now has the same experience I do. Great ISP, only new fiber seems to out perform it.

Originally the app work very well. More recently the app crashes my phone each time I try to open it. I've uninstalled the app several times with no progress. Overall happy with the internet service, however this is a setback. Seems like a rather small thing to get correct when you've got a neck for rocket science!

This took a very quick turn around from good to bad. Packet loss is way too frequent even for satellite. Speed had decreased by almost 70% and the price went up. I never thought I'd say is but I'm considering going with a local provider for satellite instead. Cheaper and the same connection. The only reason to go with Starlink in the first place was because it was the more reliable option, but if packet loss keeps causing disconnects and the speeds are not what they use to be, why stay?
