Basic connection config: Otherwise, you need a browser and the router url. Of course, it can't figure out special contexts. For anything other than typical config, It's not worth the storage and hassle. It's not the correct OS and protocol. The maker keeps pushing use of the app, anywT: They thus to limit queries and complaints. This is yet another unnecessary app. For most users, it likely performs well enough.

It's ok. Your average router. Where it fails is the need for more money to run their family software to monitor and control time on the Internet. They also need more bucks to run their security software on the device. So in the end, all you're getting is a stripped down router. Not worth the money in my opinion. You can buy other routers with faster speeds and more options without forking over more funds to do something it should do out of the box.

App could be much better, other router apps seem light years ahead, it seems like Netgear isn't really focused on developing the app not many updates, interface has looked the same for years. I just switched ISP's recently and they included a Eero Pro 6E for free, the app allows for more customized network settings, it actually lets you know when new firmware is available. The Nighthawk app always says you have the latest firmware. but if you check their website they show a newer firmware.
