Sports Interaction

Mulyn App

About this app

Sports Interaction is a simple and battery-friendly pedometer that counts your steps with the step sensor built into your phone. It does not use location or maps, it does not need an account, and it simply shows how much you move every day.

The main screen shows a large animated ring that fills up as you get closer to your daily goal, which is ten thousand steps by default and can be changed at any time. Below the ring you can see estimates of the distance you covered, the calories you burned and your active time, and a small celebration appears when you reach your goal.

To make the estimates more accurate you can enter your height, weight and sex, set your own stride length if you know it and choose between metric and imperial units.

The history screen shows a bar chart of the last seven days with your goal line, your weekly total, your daily average and your best day, along with a list of every recorded day. Achievements add a little extra motivation with badges for your first five thousand and ten thousand step days, streaks of days with your goal reached, total steps, walking a marathon distance and more, and you can always see your current and longest streak.

Privacy comes first. Sports Interaction only reads the step sensor of your device, never your location, works offline, has no ads and keeps all your data on your phone. The app asks for the physical activity permission because Android requires it to read the step sensor, and it works on devices that have a built-in step counter.

Distance and calories are approximate estimates and are not medical advice.
