About this app

Stroll turns your steps into screen time.

Stroll is a step counter, screen time tracker, screen time blocker, and gentle app blocker built around one simple loop: walk more, earn screen time, and use distracting apps with more intention.

If you want to reduce screen time without quitting everything at once, Stroll gives you a calmer way to change the habit. It creates a simple steps-to-screen-time loop: move your body, earn app time, and pause before another scroll.

Set a daily walking target, choose how many steps unlock a minute, and pick the apps you want to scroll less. As you walk, Stroll turns your steps into earned time for those chosen apps.

When your earned time runs out, Stroll works like a gentle screen time blocker, pausing the app before it opens. That small pause gives you a moment to step away instead of falling into another scroll.

Whether you want to reduce doomscrolling, quit social media slowly, or just build a healthier phone routine, Stroll helps you move more and scroll less without harsh blocking.

Why Stroll:
• Use a screen time blocker built around walking
• Turn daily steps into earned screen time
• Use a step counter built for digital wellness
• Reduce screen time with a calm walking habit
• Reduce doomscrolling and phone addiction habits without harsh blocking
• Quit social media gradually by slowing down the apps you choose
• Choose the apps you want to slow down
• Track your walking target and step progress
• See earned time and used time clearly
• Build healthier phone habits with a calm pause
• Walk to unlock screen time for chosen apps
• Use a clean, lightweight app with no ads

How it works:
1. Set your daily walking target
2. Choose how steps earn screen time
3. Pick the apps you want to scroll less
4. Walk to earn time
5. Use chosen apps more intentionally

Unlike generic walking rewards apps, Stroll creates a simple step to screen time loop: walk, earn time, and use chosen apps more intentionally.

Stroll is for people who want to move more, scroll less, reduce screen time, and build better digital wellness habits without going cold turkey.

Health Connect:
Stroll uses Health Connect to read your step count. This lets Stroll calculate earned screen time from your walking activity. Stroll only requests the step data needed for this feature.

Activity Recognition:
If Health Connect is connected but does not have step data yet, Stroll may ask for Activity Recognition permission. This lets Stroll count steps from this phone, so your earned time can start today. Stroll uses this only for step counting.

Usage Access:
Stroll uses Usage Access to measure time spent in the apps you choose. This helps Stroll subtract used time from your earned screen time.

Accessibility Service:
Android requires Accessibility for Stroll to appear at the right moment: when a chosen app opens after your earned time is used up.

Stroll only uses Accessibility for this pause screen. It does not read your screen, messages, passwords, payment details, or anything you type. Accessibility data is not stored, sent to us, or saved on any server.

Android's Accessibility Services API may be used to detect when selected apps or supported app screens are opened, and to show the pause screen or blocker you requested. Enabling the Accessibility Service helps Stroll apply your chosen usage limits more reliably.

What’s new

• Limits that are harder to undo: changes that reduce blocking can apply tomorrow, or you can spend 10 minutes of available time to apply them now.
• Live Time Bank: today’s unused earned time appears immediately and updates as you walk or use chosen apps.
• Improved blocker reliability, balance accuracy, and overall app stability.
