HOW IT WORKS

🚶 Walk to unlock
Choose apps you want to gate. When you try to open them, StepCharge blocks access until you walk enough steps to unlock.

⏱️ Earn time for scroll apps
For apps like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat, earn usage time as you walk — 1 step = 1 second. Time drains while the app is open, so you keep moving to keep scrolling.

🛡️ Background protection
Turn on Protection and StepCharge runs in the background, monitoring which app is open and enforcing your rules even when you're not in the app.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

StepCharge needs a few Android permissions to work:

• Activity recognition — count your steps
