About this app

Artists have always needed a quick and easy reference to help them understand the anatomy & forms of their portrait models. The Head Study App, is that resource.

These portrait models were created to make the study of portraiture easier, but also to enhance your knowledge of the human form. The appearance of the face can be understood best by studying what is underneath the surface. The simplified planar head and the skull in this app are made with the same proportion to make this comparison as clear as possible.

This is an amazing resource. You can specify two light sources with their own intensities and hues. Yes, I wish there were more head models, but already for the price this app is excellent as a tool and easy to use. Changing the lighting angles sometimes feels fiddly but I am getting the hang of it.

You need THIS ASAP! The head study app is great. You can turn the head 360 degrees change the light orientation in a extremely efficient way use two different light sources and colors! And it have 4 different modes to look at the head. Personally I used every time I can, waiting in my car waiting in line and if I at home I take a screenshot and I good to go.

Really great app. Cannot troubleshoot purchasing error for female pack. Tried everything from clearing Play cache and data to reauthenticating payment to buying Google Play credit, same purchasing error won't allow completion of in-app purchase. Not sure what else to do. Otherwise, amazing tool.
