Measure, record and understand the noise around you with Decibel Meter. Check a live sound level, compare places or collect recurring noise in a report with charts, notes and recordings.
MEASURE SOUND YOUR WAY
• Swipe between Level bars, Meter display, Ring and Hero card.
• Follow live decibels, minimum, average (Leq) and maximum levels.
• Choose A, C or Z frequency weighting and Fast or Slow response.
• Review loud, typical and background levels with L10, L50 and L90 statistics.
• Set a threshold alert and calibrate against a reference sound level meter.
RECORD THE MOMENT
Start a log when you want to keep readings. Pause and resume, add markers, notes and a place, or keep audio with the log. Capture photos and video with sound-level overlays, then review the chart and time above your chosen threshold.
BUILD A NOISE REPORT
Bring together repeated noise from neighbours, traffic, building work or other sources. Set your usual quiet level and a margin, log each occurrence and keep clips of loud moments. Combine selected logs into a PDF report.
CHECK NIGHT-TIME NOISE
Sleep mode logs levels and keeps clips when sound crosses its threshold. Review the night's levels and loud moments afterwards, with a dim bedside view while the tool stays open. It does not detect snoring or diagnose sleep conditions.
MAP A NOISE WALK
Start a walk to record sound levels along your route. Review the mapped readings and marked places to compare quieter and louder parts of the walk.
KEEP AND SHARE
Find logs, clips, audio, photos and videos in Saved. Revisit charts, statistics, notes and recordings. Save or share PDF reports, CSV readings and recorded media.
Explore all features ad-free during the five-day introductory trial. Basic measurement remains available afterwards; advanced features have access limits.
Measuring and recording work while the tool is open and the screen is unlocked. Leaving the app or locking the phone stops and saves an active recording. Recording starts only when you start it.
Microphone permission is required for readings; camera and location are used for the features you choose. Accuracy depends on the phone's microphone and calibration. This is not a certified sound level meter, and its reports do not establish a legal noise limit.
