See the light around you with Lux Meter. Measure everyday lighting, estimate plant light and plan photo exposure in Room, Plants and Photo modes. Save a reading or start a log to see how light changes over time.
MEASURE EVERYDAY LIGHT
• Read live lux or foot-candles with minimum, average and maximum values.
• Choose Light curve or Pro display.
• Hold and save readings, compare places and check lighting guidance for everyday tasks.
• Find your phone's light sensor, check tilt, set a dark offset and calibrate against a reference lux meter.
EXPLORE PLANT LIGHT
Estimate PPFD and daily light integral (DLI) from your selected light source and lighting duration. Choose plants from the plant list, use the planner and compare light across a canopy grid. Explore grow-lamp height using measurements at different distances.
RECORD LIGHT OVER TIME
Start a log, add markers and notes, pause and resume, or record audio with the readings. Use Recorder for plant-day light, a darkness alarm, bedroom darkness or daylight tracking. Capture photos and video with light-reading overlays.
PLAN PHOTO AND VIDEO EXPOSURE
Work with EV, ISO, aperture, shutter speed and ND filters. Choose aperture or shutter priority and compare equivalent exposures. Explore the cine meter's frame-rate, shutter-angle and T-stop calculations. Camera-based tools estimate colour temperature, flicker, surface brightness and sky darkness where supported.
MAP, REVIEW AND SHARE
Use Light map walk to follow light along a route. Review saved readings and walks on a map, revisit charts, notes and media, and create PDF reports. Save or share CSV readings, recorded audio and KML walk files.
Explore all features ad-free during the five-day introductory trial. Basic measurement remains available afterwards; advanced features have access limits.
Logs and recordings run while the tool is open and the screen is unlocked. Leaving the app or locking the phone stops and saves an active recording. Keep the tool open for continuous logging.
A compatible ambient light sensor is required for sensor readings. Accuracy and range depend on the phone, sensor placement and calibration. PPFD and DLI are estimates based on illuminance and the selected source; they do not replace a quantum light meter. Camera-based results are estimates and depend on the camera. Microphone, camera and location are used for the features you choose.
Measure lux, plan plant light and photo exposure, and keep light logs.
