Stockfish 17 is a very strong chess engine, but keep in mind this is just the engine. To use it properly, you need a GUI (graphical user interface) like Chessis or another chess app that supports external engines. Works great once set up!

A nice strong program that for unknown reasons does not work with Droidfish. Droidfish sees it but gives an error message when trying to open it. Other chess apps such as Hawk and Acid ape see it fine.Update the upgrade to 16 and still did not solve the issue with Droidfish.

Great engine. literally the strongest chess engine available. If only the developers can find a way to include commentary into it or is that the work of a GUI app like chessis? If done would help to understand why a move is good, bad or ugly! But still great anyways.
