Stockfish 17 is a very strong chess engine, but keep in mind this is just the engine. To use it properly, you need a GUI (graphical user interface) like Chessis or another chess app that supports external engines. Works great once set up!

the best. But i always tell each and every app to be more excellent. It's stockfish 17.1 now, but update it as soon as possible (19.1)

A nice strong program that for unknown reasons does not work with Droidfish. Droidfish sees it but gives an error message when trying to open it. Other chess apps such as Hawk and Acid ape see it fine.Update the upgrade to 16 and still did not solve the issue with Droidfish.
