Ratings and reviews

This is the perfect app for daily reflections during the Lenten season. It offers a notification and reads it to you so you can reflect wherever and whenever you'd like. It offers so much more but when I was searching for something specifically for lent, nothing compared.

This app is wonderful! The readings are taken from the New Jerusalem Bible, which is just beautiful in its language. And the reflections are short, informational, inspiring, and prayerful, and their presenter is very nice to listen to. The artwork for each reflection is always really lovely and aids in the reflection with a visual representation of the daily scripture. If I have anything bad to say it's that the ads are distracting. An option to buy the app ad-free would be nice.

This app is great and gives the daily readings every day, aswell as what book of the Bible they're each from. The only thing I'd have to say is a let down is that it gives an option to look at tomorrow's reading, but when I click on that it never shows anything. It'd be helpful for me mark the next day's readings ahead of time in my bible but it's never possible.
