FluidCalc is a rehydration calculator that is built upon World Health Organization (WHO) principles for the assessment and management of diarrheal disease in low-resource settings. Dehydration assessments are made using evidence-based dehydration assessment scores published in Lancet Global Health or the conventional WHO score. The software also provides recommendations for rehydration fluids and medications. The software is designed for healthcare providers managing uncomplicated diarrheal disease and ultimately relies on the provider clinical judgement and scope of practice.
