Storm Climb is a moody, fast one-thumb arcade climber set high on a rain-lashed tower in the middle of a thunderstorm.
A storm climber clings to a ledge low on the tower while a churning wall of dark floodwater surges up from below. Storm-worn ledges zig-zag upward into the driving rain, lit by distant lightning. PRESS-AND-HOLD the LEFT half of the screen to charge a leap up-and-left, HOLD the RIGHT half to charge up-and-right -- a power gauge fills as you hold, and a trail of dots previews your arc. Dose the power, release to leap, and land squarely on the next ledge. Land dead-centre for a PERFECT and bonus points; leap short or long and you plunge past the ledge into the highwater below.
The catch: the surge never stops rising. Linger too long and it swells over your feet and sweeps you under, so every ascent is a race upward. Higher towers push the floodwater up faster and stack trickier ledges -- ledges that slide side-to-side in the wind and storm-worn ledges that crumble a heartbeat after you land, forcing you to leap on before the ground gives way. Bright lightning sparks hover above some ledges; catch them on your way up for extra score. Climb the ledges each tower demands to top out above the storm, then chase a cleaner best score on every one.
