StoryCubby is a picture-book reader for children, made to be calm, simple and safe to hand over.

Every story is illustrated and reads itself aloud, so a child who isn't reading independently yet can follow along on their own. Tap through a page at a time, or turn the phone sideways for a two-page spread like a real picture book.

• Illustrated stories with page-turn animations
• Read-aloud narration in a choice of narrator voices, with adjustable speed and pitch
• One page at a time in portrait, or a two-page spread in landscape
• Colouring pages to finish a story
• Every book remembers where you stopped, and the home shelf offers to carry on

The library
• Stories grouped by Animals, Bedtime, Adventure, Learning and Fairy Tales
• Search by title or author
• Download stories to read offline, with no signal needed
• Themes that recolour the whole app, including a darker room for bedtime

For parents
• No advertising and no third-party analytics
• No chat, comments, or any way for a child to contact anyone
• A parent account is optional — guest reading needs no sign-in at all
• Anything touching account details sits behind a parental check
• With an account, reading progress syncs across devices, and you can export or delete your data at any time from inside the app
