Photo metadata remover and EXIF metadata cleaner. GPS scrubber, XMP and IPTC eraser. Vantre Photo wipes hidden data from your photos before you share, post, or sell. 100% on-device. No cloud, no accounts, no tracking, no ads.
Every photo carries invisible data: GPS coordinates, camera make and model, timestamps, editing-software fingerprints, and authorship tags. Recipients, social platforms, AI scrapers, and marketplaces can read it.
WHAT IT REMOVES
- GPS location: latitude, longitude, altitude, GPS timestamp
- Camera details: make, model, lens, software signatures
- Timestamps: capture, modification, digitization, time-zone offsets
- Authorship: artist, copyright, user comments
- Hidden blocks: complete EXIF, XMP, and IPTC metadata
- Ultra HDR gain-map XMP (Pixel 8+, Galaxy S24+, and similar)
SCAN YOUR WHOLE STORAGE
The Storage Audit scans every photo folder on your device and grades each by how much hidden metadata it carries: location, device, and timestamps. See which albums leak most, then clean a whole folder in one tap (Pro). Vantre Photo lists corrupt or unreadable files separately and leaves them untouched. The scan runs on-device.
SUPPORTED FORMATS
Input: JPEG, JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF
Output: original format, JPG, WebP, or HEIC
File size: up to 50 MB per photo
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick photos from your gallery or any share sheet, or run a Storage Audit across your whole library.
2. Review the audit. The built-in EXIF viewer shows every detected field with a 0-100 exposure index and a Vantre Grade.
3. Tap to scrub a batch, or clean a folder at once. Originals are preserved unless you overwrite.
4. Save to Gallery, save to Files, or share the cleaned batch.
WHO USES IT
- Posting to Instagram, X, Reddit, or TikTok without leaking home or work location
- Selling on Marketplace, eBay, or Depop without revealing where photos were taken

PRIVACY-FIRST. ON-DEVICE.
- 100% on-device. Photos and metadata never leave your phone.

FAQ
What is EXIF data?
EXIF is hidden metadata in nearly every photo: GPS coordinates, camera model, capture time, and editing details. Anyone with the file can read it.
Why remove metadata before sharing?
It can reveal your home address, daily routine, and equipment, and is used in stalking, doxxing, and unmasking sources.
What is the Storage Audit?
A whole-library scan that grades each photo folder by how much hidden metadata it carries, so you find and clean your most exposed albums in one tap. It runs on-device.
Does it work offline?
Yes. All cleaning and scanning happen on your device. No internet needed.
Will it reduce photo quality?
No. For supported formats, metadata is removed losslessly. When re-encoding is needed, choose Fast, Standard, or Lossless.
Why does it need permissions?
Photo access reads the images you pick and scans folders in the Storage Audit. Media Location lets original GPS data show in the audit, so you can verify what is scrubbed. Internet is only for Play license checks and Pro purchases. Nothing is uploaded.
NOTES
WebP and HEIC require Android 11+. For deepest inspection, use local storage.
