Photo metadata remover, EXIF cleaner, GPS scrubber, XMP and IPTC eraser. Vantre Photo wipes hidden data from your photos before you share, post, or sell. 100% on-device. No cloud, no accounts, no tracking, no ads.
Every photo carries invisible data: precise GPS coordinates, camera make and model, timestamps, editing-software fingerprints, and authorship tags. Recipients, social platforms, AI scrapers, and marketplaces can all read it. Photo Metadata Remover strips it before the file leaves your device.
WHAT IT REMOVES
- GPS location: latitude, longitude, altitude, GPS timestamp
- Camera details: make, model, lens, software signatures
- Timestamps: capture, modification, digitization, time-zone offsets
- Authorship: artist, copyright, user comments
- Hidden blocks: complete EXIF, XMP, and IPTC metadata
- Ultra HDR gain-map XMP (Pixel 8+, Galaxy S24+, and similar)
SUPPORTED FORMATS
Input: JPEG, JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF
Output: original format, JPG, WebP, or HEIC

FAQ
What is EXIF data?
EXIF is hidden metadata embedded in nearly every photo: GPS coordinates, camera model, capture time, exposure settings, and editing-software details. Anyone with the file can read it.
Why remove metadata before sharing?
Metadata can reveal your home address, daily routine, and equipment. Used in stalking, doxxing, and unmasking sources.
Does it work offline?
Yes. All cleaning happens on your device. No internet needed.
Will it reduce photo quality?
No. For supported formats, metadata is removed losslessly. When re-encoding is required, choose Fast, Standard, or Lossless quality.
Why does it ask for Media Location permission?
Android redacts photo GPS data from apps that don't have it. Without this permission, GPS values won't appear in the audit or get scrubbed. Vantre Photo reads them on-device only.
How is this different from other EXIF removers?
Open-source engine, a verifiable pre-clean audit so you see exactly what's hidden before you scrub, no ads, no cloud, no analytics, and selective field control.
PERMISSIONS
- INTERNET: Google Play license checks and Pro purchases only
- MEDIA LOCATION: required so original GPS data is visible in the pre-clean audit (you can verify what's being stripped before saving)
NOTES
WebP and HEIC require Android 11+. For deepest inspection, use local storage.
