About this game

The kingdom's fire is going out. All that remains at the last watchtower is your judgement.

Cinderhold is a classic tower defense wrapped in hand-drawn dark fantasy art. Hold the lanes with towers and barracks, break the advancing ember host, and keep the failing gate standing. The whole campaign is an offline single-player strategy game — no connection required.

■ Tower defense that is about reading the lane
Enemies follow a fixed path. Where you build, and what, is the entire game. Do you save early wave income for one heavy tower, or spread cheap towers so their ranges overlap? That call decides whether you survive the late waves. No auto-battle, no gacha — just placement and timing in a proper TD game.

■ 9 tower lines, 4 evolution tiers each
Archer, arcane, artillery and barracks form the base, joined by frost, lightning, venom, holy flame and ember lines. Each evolves through four tiers and changes character as it does. Artillery answers heavy armour, venom answers a swarm wave, frost answers speed. Reading the enemy composition and building your own combination is the heart of this strategy game.

■ Three chapters, thirty stages
• Ember Plains — the opening front where the fundamentals land
• Frost Ruins — where movement speed and range start to matter
• Heartcrater — the final castle defense that demands every tower line
• 15 enemy types with distinct movement and resistance patterns
• 3 chapter bosses, each threatening the gate in a different way
• Barracks units that block the lane to buy you seconds

■ The Ember Forge progression tree
Shards earned in battle permanently strengthen tower lines. Even a failed run leaves something in the forge, so the next attempt is a little easier. Which line you invest in first becomes your personal defense style.

■ Three difficulty modes
Story, Standard and Cataclysm. Story is for anyone who just wants to follow the campaign; on Cataclysm one misplaced tower and the gate falls. Collect stars to open the next chapter, then find out what a real siege feels like.

■ Who it is for
• Players who want hands-on tower defense without auto-battle
• Anyone who wants a strategy game that ends, with no gacha treadmill
• Travellers who need something playable offline on a plane or train
• Fans of dark fantasy settings and hand-drawn art
• Players who enjoy rebuilding their setup between waves
• Anyone who likes castle defense and formation planning

■ Offline single player
The campaign completes without a connection. No server maintenance, no login queue. Korean and English supported.
