About this game

Hold back the horde marching down the road of the dead — with the power of the dokkaebi.

This is a collection-based lane tower defense built from Korean folklore. Summon the goblin with the lump on his cheek, the nine-tailed fox, the haetae and the white tiger mountain spirit, and hold the crossing.

■ Summon and evolve
Over 30 allies to summon and place along the lanes. Levelling and evolution change both their look and their abilities. Combining dealers, tanks, healers and buffers for the situation is the core of this monster defense. What is coming determines whether you thicken the front line or stack damage behind it.

■ 40 stages across 4 acts
Enemy types and tactics shift with each act, and every tenth stage a serious boss blocks the way. Eight bosses with distinct patterns wait, from a shadow that swallows lanterns to a nine-tailed fox, a reaper and an ancient grandmother goddess. A composition that carried you through one act will not simply carry through the next — that is where this strategy game lives.

■ Talismans and the dokkaebi club
Drop lightning, healing and barrier talismans at the right beat, then knock the front rank backwards with the dokkaebi club cannon at your base. Build economy now, or block now? That split-second call decides matches. In any TD game, this choice is usually the best part.

■ A codex and a den
• A codex that fills in as you summon
• A den that gathers spirit while you are away
• Idle rewards that feed straight back into growth
• Visual changes at every evolution step
• Four roles — dealer, tank, healer, buffer — to combine
• A growth curve that never forces one specific unit

■ Korean mythology, kept intact
Instead of western fantasy monsters, the roster comes from Korean stories. The dokkaebi here is not a horned demon but the trickster who loves wrestling matches and buckwheat jelly. Talismans, the magic club and the road of the dead are wired directly into the rules, so familiar folklore keeps turning into a tactical decision.

■ Why a lane TD game instead of free placement
Free-placement tower defense rewards finding one perfect maze and repeating it. A lane strategy game keeps the geometry fixed and moves the problem to composition: which unit, in which lane, at which moment. That makes every act of this korean folklore campaign a fresh puzzle rather than a re-run, and it is why the monster defense stays interesting after stage 20.

■ Economy is the real difficulty curve
In this TD game the hardest decisions are financial. Spend on a second dealer now and the current wave gets uncomfortable; hold the summon and the next boss arrives with your line one tier short. Experienced tower defense players will recognise the tension immediately: a strategy game about monster defense is usually a game about what you did not build.

■ Who it is for
• Anyone who loves Korean folklore and goblin lore
• Players looking for a relaxed lane tower defense
• Collectors who enjoy gathering and raising units
• People who prefer placing units themselves over auto-battle
• Anyone who wants a strategy game in one-stage sittings
• Players who want to finish without spending

The growth curve never demands a specific unit, so you can assemble your own dokkaebi army without rushing.

Summon your first dokkaebi and hold the road.
