Stytch Authenticator helps you easily protect your accounts with 2-factor authentication (2FA), using best-in-class security practices.

It will generate Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) codes, on device, which can be used with your password on any site that supports TOTP 2FA. TOTP 2FA helps protect you against account takeovers, by requiring you to enter a time-sensitive code after logging in with a password.

To get started, enable two-factor authentication for whichever account you want to secure, use your phone camera to scan the QR code that was provided, and Stytch Authenticator handles the rest.

The next time you try to login to your account, you will be prompted to enter a TOTP code, which you can get by opening Stytch Authenticator.

All TOTP codes and secrets are stored locally on your device, so they are as secure as your phone is.
