Mini Chess packs 25 chess variants onto boards from 4×4 to 6×6. Fewer squares means faster games — but every move counts double. One slip on a 20-square board and the game is over.

PLAY THE CLASSICS
Take on variants with real history: Gardner's minichess, Los Alamos chess (the first board a computer ever played against a human, in 1956), Petty Chess from 1930, Silverman, Microchess, Demi-chess and more — plus original layouts you won't find anywhere else. Each board comes with a short note on where it came from, and a rules card shows exactly what applies: pawn double-step, promotion, draw conditions.

BEAT THE AI, UNLOCK MORE
Start on a 4×4 board and work your way up. Win a game to unlock the next board in its group, and earn a star for every difficulty you clear — four levels from Easy to Master, so there's always a harder opponent waiting.
