Submarius reads the ocean and reports everything you need to know to make a decision. Diving conditions for spearfishing, freediving and scuba, a bite forecast for fishing, and small craft conditions for boating, built for people who are tired of stitching together four apps to decide if today is worth the drive.

Every factor, wind, swell, tide, moon, pressure, water temperature, and water clarity, folds into a single score from 0 to 10 you can read in two seconds. Tap any factor to see the numbers and the reasoning. No black box AI, and every input is transparent.

Water clarity forecast
No other major app has this. Submarius estimates how far you will actually see underwater by blending satellite ocean color (NASA PACE, ESA Sentinel-3 through Copernicus Marine, NOAA CoastWatch VIIRS) with real instrument readings where they exist, river discharge, and the wave and tide driven mixing that lifts sediment up off the bottom. The number is anchored to what is normal for that place and season, then adjusted for today. When we do not have enough to know, we say so plainly instead of guessing.

Activity modes
Spearfishing, freediving, scuba, rod and reel fishing, boating, sailing, surfing, and kayak or SUP. Each mode reweights the verdict around what actually matters for that activity: clarity and tide for spearos, swell period and wind for surfers, bite windows for anglers, small craft conditions for boaters.

Bite score
Tide stage, moon phase, solunar windows, barometric trend, wind, and water temperature combine into a score from 0 to 10, factor by factor. No secret formula. If we score a day a 3, you will know exactly why.

Map layers
Self hosted bathymetry, sea surface temperature, animated weather radar, wind particle flow, and reef and wreck structure overlays. Find drop offs, temperature breaks, and shelter without dragging you to another app.

Live GPS tracks
Record your dive or fishing trip as a live blue track on the map. Useful for retracing drift, marking productive zones, or just remembering the line you swam.

Out of signal
GPS track recording keeps running with no signal, and map areas you download ahead of time stay available offline. Live data still needs a connection, so pull the diving conditions before you leave the dock.

Safety, always free
Shark tag alerts (OCEARCH), community shark sightings, SOS, and buddy GPS sharing are permanently free for every user, on every tier. No paywall and no trial, by design.

Privacy by default
Your spots stay your spots. Location is fuzzed to about 1 km on anything public, and precise coordinates never leave your device unless you explicitly share them. Post dive clarity reports ship with H3 fuzzed coordinates only, so we cannot give away where you dive because we never see it.

Current conditions, the 2 day forecast, basic bite score, and every safety feature work without an account. Sign up when you want to save spots or post catches.

Pro unlocks the 8 day forecast, premium map overlays, offline maps, unlimited saved spots, advanced bite score layers, full water clarity horizons, and catch history export. $12.99 per month or $99 per year with a 7 day free trial. A limited $149 lifetime plan is open to the first 1,000 founders.

Subscriptions bill through Google Play and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage in Play Store, then Profile, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
