This app is extremely non user friendly. I have 2 accounts with Summit and in the old app, I could readily access them all on the main page. Now I have to go to menu, swap profiles and even then some of my items like loans, or mortgage dissappear when I swap, making transferring between accounts a nightmare. The App is not quick to respond to inputs as well and can even lag, and finally there is absolutely no reason even for security, that a banking app requires my location. Stop asking.

Hi Kyle, we're sorry to hear you're not enjoying your new digital banking quite yet. For the best experience, make sure your operating system is up to date. We only use location services for fraud detection, but you can always disable. Feel free to reach out by sending us a secure message within online banking or giving us a call at 800-236-5560.

It's decent. Great quality of life improvement being able to see your credit card transactions in the app. However, I liked the UI on the old app more. Seemed more intuitive. It'd be perfect if it had a "classic view" option or something to that effect. Either way, not really sure why the app needed totally overhauled since it didn't feel outdated or anything.

They've made us jump through hoops for added security and I'm not really sure I see it. Yes, you will now be required to have a more complex password, and you "may" be required to do two factor authentication in the future. I tried browsing the features such as account transfer and auto bill pay. I wasn't impressed. Seems like they made it easier for them and maybe for us. I'm all for a very secure app to bank with. Can't say I feel secure on this new and improved site, I do feel inconvenienced.

What’s new

Well…the whole app! LOTS of easy new features in this upgrade from the former Summit mobile app. But it’s still all about making your finances stress-free, and your financial future more secure. Check out the new tools and many of your familiar favorites, too.
