Plan where to watch the total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026.
Sunset Eclipse lets you explore locations and simulate in 3D how the eclipse will look from each place, taking the actual terrain into account.
The eclipse will cross Greenland, Iceland and Spain. In many areas, the Sun will be very low above the horizon, so a mountain or ridge can completely change what you see from relatively nearby locations.

Sunset Eclipse was created by an independent developer to answer one specific question: where should you watch the eclipse when the Sun will be so close to the horizon?
The app provides a simulation based on astronomical calculations and terrain data. Trees, buildings and small variations in the horizon may not be represented. If a location is important to you, check the surroundings in person beforehand.
