Ratings and reviews

Has the potential to be great. I love the UV ratings based on location. I like the timer and the suggestions based on skin type and SPF covering how long to sit on each side. However, the input options bug out constantly. I can't put an SPF rating of 30 then set target each side as it is stuck at zero. UI is not very userfriendly and I also do not like the microwave sound for when the timer is up, as although it's funny, it's far too short and I've had to set phone alarms incase I missed it.

I never rate phone apps but I wanted to come give this 5 stars! I am using it for a slightly different reason than simply tanning, I have a severe sensitivity to the sun so I need to "harden" my skin in the spring. I've been using this and haven't gotten burnt or had a sun rash while using this app and I'm actually getting a little tan too which is unheard of for me! the one critique I would have for this app is it isn't the most intuitive. maybe a tutorial in the beginning would be helpful.

Update: error code upon opening the app despite clearing cache and storage. Bummer! Does exactly what I need all in one app! Took a little while to figure out how to adjust settings and switch sides but I love how it automatically adjust the timer based on current UV levels. And seems to use the compass to show where the sun is facing. So convenient for outdoor tanning!!!
