This is the new BPR Inland Waterways Police Regulations, new edition. Clear and complete.
The Inland Waterways Police Regulations contain the traffic rules for by far the largest part of Dutch inland waterways and are mandatory for almost every water sports enthusiast and professional water user.
Instead of a book, you can now also take this BPR app on your smartphone or tablet, much more convenient!
√ You can search the entire BPR for keywords, including parts of a word and word combinations. This has also made it a lot easier to find information for your Boating License.
√ The app does not require an internet connection.
√ When you're on the water: what about that one priority rule, or what exactly does that buoy mean? With this app, you'll know much faster than when you need to start browsing.
√ The display is completely adapted to the image of your phone, we have used a clear font, a quick menu system and a logical structure.
√ This app is suitable for both your phone and tablet (so you only have to pay once)
The Inland Waterways Police Regulations are mandatory on board
Within the scope of the Regulations, each ship must carry an up-to-date copy of the valid BPR. This can be done on paper, but it can also be this app, because article 1.11 in the inland navigation police regulations states: "A copy that can be consulted at any time via electronic means is also allowed."
PLEASE NOTE: Large ships without crew accommodation and small open ships are excluded from this obligation. But of course it remains useful (and sensible!) to know and check the rules on the water.
