About this app

Debt Tracker helps you manage personal debts, keep track of money owed, and always know how much you owe. If you need a practical debt manager without unnecessary complexity, this app gives you a clear place to record amounts, follow payments, and review everything in one place.

You can create personal debts in multiple currencies and assign them to contacts created inside the app. If you want, you can also sync those contacts with your device address book to import their name and photo, always as an optional feature. This makes it easier to keep everything organized and adapt the app to the way you already work.

Key features:

- Manage personal debts in multiple currencies
- Use a debt manager and payment tracker for every debt
- Add partial payments and record multiple payments for the same debt
- Check balances by contact and see a global balance
- Filter, search, and sort your debt history the way you prefer
- Add due dates and set reminders before each payment
- Create backups, import data, and export your information whenever you need
- Offline app, no account, and your data always under your control

> Real payment tracking and up-to-date balances:

Each debt can include multiple payments. You can add partial payments as many times as you need and always see how much has been paid and how much is still pending. When the total of all payments reaches the full amount, the debt is automatically marked as paid. This kind of debt tracking is much more useful than a static list, because it reflects the real state of every debt.

> Two ways to review your information:

Most people start with the contacts view because it is the fastest way to review debts, answer "who owes me?", and see who you owe. You can quickly review each contact balance and the overall balance at the top of the screen.

You also get a dedicated debts tab with search, history, and advanced filters. There you can see all debts, only pending debts, only money owed to you, or only what you owe. You can also change the sorting to review recent changes, amounts, or other criteria. If you want more control, this debt manager gives you that extra level of detail and works as a practical debts monitor.

> Due dates and reminders:

One of the most useful parts of the app is its due date management. You can add a due date to each debt, see how much time is left, and configure reminders in advance. That way, the app not only stores your records, but also helps you stay ahead of upcoming payments.

> Privacy, backups, and exports:

This app works with a local database. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly decide to take it out yourself, for example through a database export, a CSV export, a clipboard copy, and more. You can also create backups and import your information whenever you need. If you want a private offline app with no account, you stay in control at all times.

> Built for specific searches too:

If you are looking for a simple way to keep money owed, payments, and balances organized, Debt Tracker gives you a practical solution for everyday use. It is especially useful when your questions are "who owes me?", "what do I owe?", and how each debt changes over time.

In short, this app combines debt records, payment tracking, due dates, reminders, and data export in one place. It works as a debt tracker for anyone who asks "who owes me?" and wants more clarity, more control, and a reliable way to manage debts every day.

Just installed and started putting in data. PLEASE give me the option to sort entries from oldest first to most recent at bottom. This makes far more sense. Also would be nice to be able to have more than one debt entry for each person; my ex owes me for several different categories and it's a little cumbersome to have to create separate contacts for each. Otherwise I think this will be very useful.

a good simple app to use that does all I need however it still lacks an option to add images to debts so it unfortunately can't be as detailed as I'd like. it sucks that backups are locked behind a paywall but more than that, there's no account system that could even save my data if I need to change devices. other than that, it's a nice app to have.

Thank you for the feedback, Nephtali! I appreciate the suggestion about adding images to debts. While some features are premium, you can create unlimited debts and payments for free. Also, cloud sync with user accounts is currently in development and should arrive in the coming months.

I like it a lot; it's easy to use, visually appealing, and allows for good control. However, the subscription would be ideal if it had a search function by concept, the ability to export all data at once instead of by debt, the option to organize by amounts and dates (not just alphabetically), and the option to increase debt for better record-keeping.Five stars because it truly helped me organize my debts.
