Sound Meter Decibel designed to determine the level of environmental noise, including acoustic. A noise meter is known as a sound pressure meter or db meter. With the help of a sound level meter or sound decibel meter, you can easily detect too much loud or too soft sound to interfere with your hearing.
The application detects measure decibels using the phone's built-in microphone.

ATTENTION! This instrument is not a professional decibel meter measuring device . Most microphones on mobile devices are tuned to human voice (40-60 dB). Voice calls don't require high-performance microphones. Therefore, the maximum value of the Sound Meter Decibel is LIMITED by manufacturers.

Let me get to the best part first: no scams! The app actually does what it claims. It doesn't lock you out behind full-page ads, or force you to buy stuff to access core functionality. All it does to monetize is a tiny little banner ad at the bottom. That's it. Seems like a solid Decibel meter app with good functionality, design, and ui. I would absolutely recommend to other users.

I used this app for a while, and on my iPhone it was fine, it served ads but they were not intrusive. Now on my Google Pixel every time I open the app I have to watch a timed ad before I can use the app, and the ads are using deceptive fake "X's" to trick you into clicking on the links. I use this app to do frequent checks on sound levels for a conference system on a weekly basis, it has been frustrating from the amount and frequency of ads, and the cost of the ad free subscription is too much.

I was quite Skeptical wether this App would be any good & also sensitive to sound in a Useful/Realworld sitution. To be Honest, I wasn't expecting much from it..... .....But, I was Very Surprised from the first time trying it out. Far beyond any expectations and will come in very handy for the sound/noise monitoring I need. A Great Little App. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I had to try it out on all sorts for the First Half an Hour!! ( Like a Kid on Christmas Morning with a new toy!!
