The “My Chord” app makes playing guitar and piano easier and more enjoyable, and helps learners improve their skills. It’s suitable for beginner musicians as well as more advanced users. The app can recognize played notes and chords, allowing you to check melody accuracy and automatically scroll sheet music during performance. Beginners can use it to learn chords and read notation, while advanced musicians will especially appreciate the “scroll” feature that follows guitar tablature or standard notation as they play, making it simpler to track notes and refine technique.
App Functionality Description: On the main screen there’s a menu with three options.
Tuner: Tapping “Tuner” opens a screen for precise tuning and displays the note you play on piano or guitar.
Pick (Trzalica): The “Pick” button leads to the learning screen, where you’ll find a list of chords to master. In the top-left corner is a search icon for finding any chord. Tap a chord to open its fingering diagram. When you correctly play the right string, that string lights up blue on the diagram.
Sheet Music: The “Sheet Music” button opens a screen with cards representing songs. Each card shows the song title and artist. In the top-right corner of each card is a pencil icon for editing the song. In the bottom-right corner is an icon indicating the notation type: a guitar symbol for tablature, a staff symbol for standard notation, or a chord-chart icon for accompaniment chords. At the top-left of the list is a search icon to find any song, and at the top-right is a “+” button to let you enter a new song in any of the above formats. Tap a card to open the sheet view, which then auto-scrolls as you correctly play each note or chord in sequence.
