Alerti is a free earthquake and tsunami alert app that notifies you when seismic events happen near the places you care about. It is built for residents and travelers
who want timely, location-aware information drawn directly from authoritative sources.

RAPID NOTIFICATIONS
When official agencies publish an earthquake or tsunami report near your location, Alerti delivers a push notification within seconds — typically within a few minutes of
the event itself, depending on how quickly source agencies confirm and publish data. Tsunami warnings are always delivered as critical, regardless of distance.

LOCATION-AWARE SEVERITY
Alerti measures how close each event is to your location and surfaces what matters most. Events are classified as CRITICAL or ADVISORY based on magnitude and proximity,
so you can react quickly without alert fatigue.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR ALERTS
Set your own minimum magnitude and notification radius. Tune the app to match how cautious or selective you want to be. Defaults are designed to surface significant
events without overwhelming you.

WORLDWIDE MAP
Browse recent earthquakes anywhere on Earth. Tap any event to see magnitude, depth, distance from your location, time of occurrence, and the reporting agency.

TRUSTED DATA
Event data is sourced directly from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and other recognized seismological agencies. Alerti does not edit or interpret the
readings — what you see is what the agencies publish.

PRIVACY-FIRST
No ads. No third-party analytics. No tracking SDKs. Sign in with Google to enable alerts; your approximate location is used only to calculate proximity to events. All
data is transmitted over HTTPS.

NOT AN EARLY WARNING SYSTEM
Alerti is a post-event awareness and notification tool. It does not detect seismic activity directly and is not an Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) system — it cannot warn
you before shaking arrives. Notification timing depends on how quickly source agencies publish data. In an actual disaster, always follow the guidance of your local
emergency services and official government warnings.

PERMISSIONS
Location: required to calculate proximity between you and seismic events. Notifications: required to deliver alerts. You can use the app without granting location, with
limited functionality.
