For international users in Thailand
International users from supported countries can sign up with a supported mobile number or email. Verify your identity with an NFC-enabled passport. If your passport does not support NFC, use your passport plus one additional valid, unexpired government-issued document. A Thai bank account is not required to register for DeepPocket.

Ratings and reviews

Impossible for travelers they ask for additional visas. They say it's easy but it's pointless for a foreigner to use. With the visa they want, I can get a Thai bank account and get around the whole issue and won't need a stop gap. Pointless service.

Was working great until I changed phones and suddenly wasn't receiving SMS OTP's. The only solution was to close the account and reopen another with an email address. It took a month for them to close it. Now I can't open another one because they've updated their requirements for documentation. They require ones that only Thai Nationals or people on Long Term Visas would have - and they would have a bank account with no use for this app. Going to just give up. Don't bother.

Doesnt work for travellers. they ask for a visa and won't even accept the entry stamp. What's the point? if I had a long term visa I'd just have a Thai bank account.
