About this app

TacLink puts your side of an airsoft or milsim event on one live map. Scan the side code at the meeting point and you are in: the area, your squad, the organizer's pins and the event brief are on your phone before the first whistle.

ON THE FIELD
- See where your squad and the rest of your side are, live. The other side never sees you.
- Long-press the map to send an order (move to, hold, attack, defend, regroup, retreat), mark an enemy, or drop a squad pin. Orders show who has acknowledged them.
- Set your status (alive, dead, medic) with one tap so your squad knows.
- Your position keeps going to your side with the screen off and the phone in a pocket.

WHEN THE SIGNAL DROPS
- Phones on the same side pass positions, orders, markers and pins to each other over Bluetooth. The side stays on the map in a valley, a bunker or a forest with no coverage.
- When one phone gets signal back, it carries what it heard to the server for everyone.
- Everything you do offline is queued and sent when the connection returns.

FOR ORGANIZERS
- Create the event on the web at app.tac-link.com: area, sides, squads, commanders, pins, a map image. Print the side QR codes or share the links.
- Staff can start, pause and end the event and move players between sides and squads from the app.

NO NOISE
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Your position goes to your own side during an event and is not stored as a history.
- Sign in with Apple or Google. Your callsign is the only profile field.
