Every tile in TWYN is two things at once: a coloured ring and a shape.
The red ring appears exactly twice on the board. So does the triangle. No
identity appears three times, none appears alone. So every tile has two
partners: the one sharing its colour, and the one sharing its shape.
And those two partners don't sit just anywhere. One falls to the side and the
other above or below — never both in the same direction — and both at the same
distance. A perfect right angle.
That's the whole rule. There is nothing else to learn and nothing hidden: the
board shows you everything from the first second. The only missing piece is you.
HOW IT PLAYS
Drag a tile from the tray to the board, or tap it and then tap the square. Got
it wrong? Undo — no limit, no penalty, no way to ruin a run. The tiles already
locked in place are your foothold, not an obstacle.
When the board closes, the circuits light up and you see the whole figure you
were building without knowing it. That moment is why this game exists.
THREE HUNDRED LEVELS THAT ACTUALLY CLIMB
You start placing a single tile on a board of four. You finish placing
twenty-two on a board of twenty-four. In between there are three hundred
levels, and the difficulty rises level by level — not in jumps every thirty.
Each one has EXACTLY ONE solution, proven by an exact solver before it ever
reached the game. If you found an arrangement that closes, it is the right one.
No ambiguous levels, and no impossible ones.
ONE TO THREE STARS
Solving a level earns one star. Solving it fluently earns two. Solving it fast
earns three. The time you need grows with the size of the board, so three stars
are just as reachable on level 300 as on level 3. And the map lets you go back
to any level you have already opened and beat your own time.
CALM, AND WITHOUT TRICKS
No lives. No energy. No timer running against you, and no screens that cut
across your thinking. TWYN is a quiet logic game and it is built like one: leave
a level half done and come back tomorrow.
Hints show you the next step that can be deduced — not the answer.
