I've wondered why nobody developed an app that explains moves in plain English when going through the game review after the game and here it is. It also seems to be made in conjunction with the absolutely fantastic Lichess app too which is just an added bonus really. No ads, no IAP, no nothing, just a good, honest chess app. Online play, Maia chess engine, those plain English move explanations, just beautiful. Highly recommended.

I like that the games are synced automatically if you play on lichess, and i love the commentary feature even more because it's easier to understand my mistakes because it's in english rather than just ± move ratings or whatever they're called lol. I'm a beginner so I hope this app helps me in my journey to get better at chess.

The new updates have improved it significantly, the only issue I see now is daily puzzle, on phone it just cuts off e.g "Black to play and..." and what? When you open it, it just shows the description. Below this is the old review I really enjoy the overall app experience, I really do, but I cannot get over the fact that on a low end device taketaketake is smoother running on a web browser than its own app. One would expect with less overhead the performance would be better but app is laggier.
