I like using the rope and the app is helpful for keeping track of jumps and time jumping, etc., BUT I have to go into the apps management of my device after EVERY use and clear the cache and force a stop of the app or when I use it the next day my rope WILL NOT connect to the app. Also, lately the app tells me my internet connection is poor or non- existent even though I have both full 5g cell signal and/or am connected to my fully operational WiFi.

This app is awful. Worked fine the first three times I used it. Now every time I open it I have a "bad connection" which means virtually nothing is recorded, which was the ENTIRE purpose of getting this rope. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and somehow this is the only app or smart item in my home that has a bad connection.

The app, while useful, is nevertheless EXTREMELY buggy. Only go with this brand if you really only want a counter (and even then, it's a bit shoddy). Some things don't work very well, like the accuracy or the overall UI; some things you can't change at all, like increasing the reset timer so that the counter doesn't restart to zero; and some things don't work at all, like the timer (it's stuck at 23:XX:XX, and it doesn't change no matter how long I skip). Can be extremely frustrating to use
