I love this app and I can't believe it isn't more popular. It gives artists a place to post their comics and to get inspired by many other artists. However the mobile version doesn't have some things the computer version does. Such as a message board. And on the mobile version you can't post comics and they don't even let you see your own notifications which is somewhat frustrating. They also seem to really favor premium comics when there are many many other artists who deserve just the same amount of recognition. And none of the books are free. But besides these things, this app is wonderful and I recommend it.
I enjoy this app like no other. The fact that it combines comics AND books is quite refreshing. The only thing that I have trouble with is the coins and keys. I don't have the money and earning 225 coins for 1 key by watching ads is tedious. I understand it, though. So really, no issues here. ♥
The app has been bugging out. When I try to earn the free coins by watching ads, it gets stuck on a solid white loading screen, and neglects to give me my imaginary monetary reward. I spent entirely too much time trying to get keys this way, and I was cheated out of more than 250 coins. Huge bummer.
I passed up this app a couple times in my search for manga/web comics. I finally downloaded it today after a friend recommended I read Nine Stones. Holy moly, I am thoroughly shaken! This stuff's great, man!
The app was doing fine before the update. Now it runs poorly, the ads pop up a lot. And the videos we are supposed to be able to watch to earn coins (because heaven knows we need a lot; tipping, unlocking keys for all the somewhat overpriced comics, etc.) does not work. The majority of the time, it either says videos are unavailable, or that "there was an error displaying". It gets very annoying. I am on the fence about keeping this app.
I don't enjoy it anymore. it crashes all the time and it freezes. I used to love tapastic before the update but now it's also too complicated as well
Updated timing of interstitial ads to be less disruptive when reading.
