It has great features and I used most of them to learn, train, schedule, keep up with club news, see future events and I use the gallery extensively to watch instructional videos. However, the app does not work with my Lenovo tablet and so I have to use my phone to watch the videos or cast my phone to another device. My daughter is also part of the club but I can not manage her profile separate to mine.
Not a fan of TeamApp. I have three sons on two different teams and I can't set it up so it identifies each player separately which makes attendance difficult for the coach to manage. If you cancel a practice which is a recurring event on the schedule it deletes ALL the events. First touch was a better, more intuitive App. Agree as well with all the comments about the notifications.
Overall its very good and keeps my team updated. But there are a few glitches. As sometimes the app crashes. As well as leaving notifications or events "unseen or unread" even though they have already been viewed. It is irritating as how we receive a notification from team app and also as a email
I would give this a better review if it weren't so hard to turn on notifications for everything. The difficulty I've had made my daughter almost miss a game because I wasn't getting notifications under schedule, which is very difficult to find. Getting yelled at by the coach is never fun. An update where all notification choices are on the main page for each sport would be great. Just a list for you to turn on notifications for a-z would make this app so much easier to use.
It's kind of buggy on android. I sometimes can't see all the chats that come through, and the standard refresh for Android (dragging the screen down) doesn't do anything and there is no refresh, so of an important chat comes through, I may or may not be able to see it. Other than that it's a great way to keep in touch with the whole team without it being a giant group text, and I can mute notifications for different chats if wanted. The schedule is nice, (maps do not load in Android) it allows us to put in all practices, games and others right in the app. The gui is easy to use and figure out, no instructions needed. Overall it's a great idea and a good app.
You can't turn off or change the annoying notification tone without turning off notification completely. We use it for a large team with a lot going on and it is incredibly annoying. I would recommend you choose any of its competitors .
Overall improvements and minor bug fixes
