You can optionally choose to sync your steps from Health Connect to the challenge via the 'Sync Device' screen of the app. This can be disabled at any time.

Update. I emailed the Big Team Challenge support and explained the crashing problem. They responded quickly and let me know an update was being worked on. I installed the update today and it works perfectly now. This app worked up until the last update. Now it crashes immediately after opening. I am using a Samsung S22.

Been using this app for a work challenge. Our team were doing exceptionally well until the app crashed on Tuesday (9/6/26) and now at least 3 members can no longer record their contributions affecting the overall team performance. Tried to reinstall several times to no avail.

There's a bug for my galaxy fold 3 where it instantly crashes when trying to open. I just get a pop up saying to update it when the developer releases a fix. I have tried clearing cache and data for the app but that doesn't fix it.
