Terrible menus for a paid app. After the 8th crossword, it no longer allowed you to go straight to the next puzzle upon completion (whereas puzzles 1-8 had a button on the the completion message taking you straight to the next puzzle.) Instead you have to tap the 'congratulations!' message, back out, and THEN select the next puzzle. I also think the crossword layouts are really lacking in variety, they all look very basic and almost every word only intersects with two or three others. Refund pls

Hello Joseph, sorry to hear you're disappointed with our app. The crosswords are the UK variety where 'hanging letters' are normal, unlike US crosswords (i.e. not every letter has two clues). If you contact us direct at info@teazel.com we will arrange a refund. If you search for 'Crossword US' you'll find our US version which will suit you better.

I wanted a no ads, no non-sense crossword app, and I got one. Almost seventy puzzles in and having a good time. My only issue is there is a noticeable number of British origin/usage words that I've never heard of. The British slang is usually noted as such, so I know I'm probably going to have to look it up in the end, but not the non-slang which I just kind of bang my head against. Owell, expand my vocabulary I guess.

This is a very cut and dry, no nonsense crossword app and I love it. Very low price for the amount of puzzles you get, and so far they are high quality if occasionally challenging. My biggest, and probably only, complaint would be that the app forces you to use its own keyboard. I don't know if it's simpler that way but it would be nice to have more keyboard customization options, for example to increase the size of the buttons.
