About this app

CarteDex recognises your Pokémon, Magic and One Piece cards with the camera, catalogues them by variant, condition and language, and shows you what your collection is actually worth using real Cardmarket and CardTrader prices.

A SCANNER THAT RUNS ON YOUR PHONE
Line the card up in the frame and CarteDex offers you the right card, with set and number. Recognition happens entirely on your device — photos of your cards are never sent to a server. The card archive ships inside the app, so you can scan and catalogue with no connection at all.

REAL VALUE, NOT A GUESS
Two real price sources, both European:
• Cardmarket — European prices from the daily guide, working immediately with nothing to set up
• CardTrader — euro prices on the Italian market, using your own token entered once

CarteDex keeps the history day by day: a price chart for every card, the change against yesterday, and the biggest risers and fallers over a day, a week and a month. A daily background refresh keeps prices current and notifies you when a card jumps.

EVERY VARIANT, PROPERLY
A card is not just a name. CarteDex keeps normal, holo, reverse and foil apart, along with condition from Near Mint to Poor, first edition and — above all — language. Twelve printing languages, with each card's name and artwork shown in its own language.

If your collection isn't all in English, that is the difference between a correct inventory and a wrong valuation.

SET COMPLETION
For every expansion you get the completion percentage and the full grid of the set: the cards you own in colour, the ones you're missing in grey. No more paper lists to work out what to look for.

IF YOU SELL
Export your inventory as CSV in Cardmarket's or CardTrader's format, with language and condition already converted to their codes. For the whole collection, a single set, or just the cards you pick.

Scanning, cataloguing, set completion and collection value are free and require no sign-up.
