Agnihotra. Agni means FIRE and hotra means to offer unto the fire to create a healing effect.

Agnihotra, also known as Homa Therapy or Fire Therapy is an Vedic technique that enhances and nourishes human lives creating an equilibrium between the nature within us and around us by tuning our mind and body with rhythm of nature. It’s a process of purification whose positive results have been established by scientists, doctors, ecologists both modern and ancient. Agnihotra is a fabulous and elementary healing therapy practiced by people worldwide as it doesn’t have any religious or national nuances attached to it.

Agnihotra can be performed by anyone, anywhere, at home, in the garden, office etc in a clean and tidy environment. The process is tuned to the biorhythm corresponding with sunrise & sunset, hence Agnihotra is performed precisely at given local sunrise & sunset timings.

Agnihotra app is bult for Android and iOS phone to provide Agnihotra timings based on given locations.
This app can also throws notifications to remind an individual to perform Agnihotra. Also multiple locations can be added so travelers can easily switch between location to get Agnihotra time for that location without the need of internet.
Apart from this monthly Agnihotra timing calendar can be viewed and yearly Agnihotra timing chart can be downloaded as a PDF file which can be further shared or printed.

I’m using the app on my Android phone. The app has trouble getting my location automatically. Even after trying many times, it doesn’t let me set my location manually either. I have checked that location permission is on and my phone’s location services are enabled, but the problem still happens. I hope the developers can fix this soon because the app is otherwise good.

This app was good to check the timing of sunrise and sunset. Now that they changed the whole format of the app, it is way too difficult to see the timing and the PDF download is not even working at all... What in the world are you all doing? When the previous one was doing well....!? Now even your email is not working! BS!

Good graphic like the previous version. 1 still app requires internet connection to start so if you are in a remote place you can miss Agnihotra 😬 2 the key is timing and the space given to the time display is minimal 😄 3 the update resets the location so untill you realise this you are doing wrong Agnihotra 4 even in new version we cannot set our own alarm tone
