Decibra turns your phone into a quick reference for the noise around you. Open it, tap once, and see the sound level in decibels with the context to understand what the number means.

WHAT IT DOES

• Live decibel reading with a clear ring gauge and equalizer bars
• Minimum, average, and maximum for every session
• Plain-language bands — Quiet, Moderate, Loud, Very loud — so a number becomes something you can act on
• Works entirely offline, with no account and no sign-up

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

Decibra estimates sound level from the microphone signal in real time and
discards it immediately. Audio is never recorded, never stored, and never
uploaded. There is no backend, no analytics account, and nothing to delete
later, because nothing leaves your phone.

• Checking whether a room, office, or shared space is comfortable
• Comparing noise between rooms, seats, or times of day
• Getting a feel for how loud an event, appliance, or piece of equipment is
• Understanding a neighbourhood before you commit to it

BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY

No clutter, no dashboards to configure, no tutorial to sit through. The reading
is two taps from launch and the interface reacts to the sound level as it
changes. English and Spanish included.

IMPORTANT — REFERENCE TOOL ONLY

Decibra is a reference tool, not a certified sound-level meter. Readings depend on your device's microphone, its position, and any case covering it, so results vary between phones. Do not use Decibra for occupational safety assessments, regulatory compliance, legal evidence, or any medical or hearing-health decision. For those purposes use a calibrated instrument and consult a qualified professional.
