Mutify Pro automatically silences ads on your music apps, then restores your volume the moment your music comes back. Set it once and forget it.

When an ad starts, Mutify Pro turns the volume down. When your song returns, the volume goes back to exactly where you had it. No tapping, no timing it yourself.

SETUP:

• Mutify Pro needs Notification access to detect when an ad is playing. The app reads notifications only from the music apps you enable, uses them only to spot ads, and never stores or sends them anywhere. You grant this permission once during setup.

• Add Mutify Pro to your battery optimisation exceptions so it can keep working reliably in the background. The app will walk you through it.

IMPORTANT — WHAT MUTIFY PRO IS NOT:

Mutify Pro is not an ad blocker. It cannot remove, skip, or shorten ads, and it does not modify or interfere with Spotify or any other app in any way. It simply lowers your device volume while an ad plays and restores it afterwards.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS:

• Casting devices (Chromecast, smart speakers) are not supported — Mutify Pro controls your phone's volume, not a remote device's. If your speaker connects over Bluetooth, it will work.

DEVELOPER NOTE:

Mutify started as a free side project and grew well beyond what I expected. Pro exists so I can keep maintaining it properly: faster fixes, more supported apps, and features people actually asked for. If something isn't working right for you, email me — I read everything.

And if you can swing it, a real Spotify Premium subscription is still the best listening experience there is. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.
