Airbuds is a widget for best friends to share their listening activity.

You and your friends can see what each other are listening to right on your home screens.

You can react to songs, play music on the app, and start a conversation.

It makes you feel closer to your friends through the music they’re listening to at any moment.

Ratings and reviews

Funny and enjoyable. Occasionally misses songs, though, and it's a bit wonky to navigate. Especially when it comes to your own data. It would be very nice to have a better way to look at your own stuff. You sort of can now, but it's iffy at the best of times. Customising your own profile is also difficult and irritating. Pretty amusing though, and it's fun to keep up with my friends' music, so 4 stars.

Don't use if you have SoundCloud. it's fun, but I can't even use half the features. I think it's cuz I connect with SoundCloud instead of Spotify. the app will say I played a song multiple times when I hadn't, I can't even add artists or albums to my "space," and so on and so on. its a cute app! I like to check in on my friends. but I can't even use it to its full extent, super lame.

from what ive seen my friend use, it's a pretty cool app!! a lot of my friends use airbuds and i really would like to use it, but i only use youtube music. i think that adding the ability to connect to youtube music would be great for both me and many others!! update 4/29/26 - youtube music has still not been added unfortunately. i still check often, and i really would love to use the airbuds app.
