About this app

Airbuds is a widget for best friends to share their listening activity.

You and your friends can see what each other are listening to right on your home screens.

You can react to songs, play music on the app, and start a conversation.

It makes you feel closer to your friends through the music they’re listening to at any moment.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Sign up with Spotify and add the widget to your home screen
2. See what your friends are listening to
3. React to songs, play music on the app, and start a convo.

contacted support awhile ago about my songs not really syncing properly, so my weekly recaps are completely inaccurate. I use other apps to gauge those, so I only keep the app for the social aspect at this point. Hopefully updates will fix how bad it is, otherwise it just takes up empty space on my phone. also hope the support staff gets a little better, they didn't really solve anything or act remotely sympathetic to my issue. but no biggie lol, its not that serious. Not as cool as it once was.

I really do love this app, it's amazing and it good way to make friends and find new music. But I've seen some glitches where my recent history wouldn't upload until hours later, or my recap and I wouldn't be able to see it. I know this app it's in it's early stages in development but that would be nice. Also I suggest if you guys can add YouTube music as a provider :))

Where do I start? If you value aesthetic more than actual statistics, you can use this, but it never tracks every song you listen to. You can still get a general idea of someone's taste in music, and you can add favorite songs to your profile, but it won't show you accurate minutes or streaming history. If you want real statistics, try using Stats.fm. They have a premium membership, but it's a lifetime purchase. I'm proud of how much I listen to music, and this app doesn't deliver.
