this is the official TP–7 companion app.

enhance your TP–7 field recorder experience with seamless voice-to-text transcription. connect via bluetooth or usb, hit transcribe in the app and instantly convert your audio into text*, no file transfer needed. hit play and watch the words highlight as it reads along, with navigation through the app or TP–7. export your text by sending it to your email, then edit in your program of choice.

Ratings and reviews

Does what it claims, and well. Ran the app for transcription and it translated 99% correct over a 15 minute duration. Minor clean up needed for names and some special scenarios, but much better than I originally was expecting. App connects quickly and does exactly what it claims to do. Looking forward to seeing if TE does anything fun with it in the future, but fine with it as is.

Not bad, distinguishes between sounds and voice, not particularly fast with longer recordings but a great add-on feature for the TP7

Loved it. The hardware is a bit on the cheap side though
