This has been a very fun product for our kiddos to enjoy. I have read the previous reviews and was apprehensive to take the plunge with a purchase. However, the opportunity was too good to pass up. Since they received it on Christmas, it has not disappointed to entertain them. The kit itself is fairly simple and easy to put together when they want to create movie. The app takes some learning, but nothing 5-10 minutes in the app can't solve. My kids are 6, 9, and 11. They love making videos and utilizing the various backgrounds. I know it will continue to provide many more hours of fun.

We were really excited about this and waited several extra weeks to receive the kit but the app doesn't work at all. We can bring up a background after calibrating but nothing displays after that except the background. It was a waste of time and money. Disappointing. Update: We also waited very patiently for the updated Android app. It still doesn't work; same issues.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew. Took under an hour to get it set up. Had trouble getting anything to show up on the background at first, but after turning on the overhead light, my nephew's favorite dino toys were able to travel to far away locations. There are a ton of background images to choose from and the picture quality was good once we had the lighting high enough. There are also foreground images which I played with a bit, but not exactly sure how they are supposed to work (hard to manipulate them while also playing with the physical objects in front of the screen). The interface could be better, but was not difficult for two forty-year-olds to figure out.
